Property:Inverse

See owl:inverseOf for the theoretical basis of "inverse" relation between properties.

As an example, one could write

[[inverse::Property:Parent of]]

in the article Property:Child of.

If ontoworld.org had MediaWiki:Smw_import_owl set up, we could declare this imported from owl:inverseOf so that it has meaning in RDF Export. SMW still would not pay attention to inverse relations when browsing and searching without additional coding.

This property is the inverse of itself.

SMW doesn't automatically query the inverse of a property for you. However, you can query for the value of the inverse property on all the pages that are the objects of a property; ideally the result would match the set of pages using the property. For example, Property:Location of could have a query for Property:Located in:

 <ask>[[located in::<q>[[location of::+]]</q>]][[located in::*]]</ask>
