Esyne information processing
From semanticweb.org
esyne - information processing is a private project which has been started more than 15 years ago. The original concept has underrun some re-writes till controversal needs could be recognized, integrated and solved. Due to a lack of time of the author for developing the software is still in alpha state. Sponsors are welcome.
The author (who doesn't like to spread his name via the web) is a web designer in Austria. As he is autodidact, you might find some funny terminology in the description below. So please don't regard the form but the content.
[edit] Concept
1 what is esyne.info?
1.1 esyne.info is an intelligent information processing platform.
1.2 it fuses the practical properties of different popular web techniques to a comprehensive system for everyone's needs.
1.3 the innovative base consists of a single recursive code function (an information node) together with an advanced type of semantic information structure. it works just as an abstraction or projection of how everything is built up.
1.4 esyne.info thus provides a common formula to handle all types of world's cognitive knowledge and meanings in an intelligent way, to free the user from the processing time of basic cognition and routines, optimize organization and minimize failures.
2 properties:
2.1 information distribution
2.1.1 social community with user accounts.
2.1.1.1 no redundant public information.
2.1.2 separate database containers:
2.1.2.1 permission levels for accessing information (eg personal and public).
2.1.2.2 implementation of a more public level into a more private for processing.
2.1.2.3 distributed storage possible.
2.1.3 satellite application planned for inter operation with local systems.
2.2 information processing
2.2.1 natural sentence processing
2.2.1 innovative semantic multilevel structure of information (object orientated, relational)
2.2.1 combined information and method-rules
2.2.1.1 automated linking
2.2.1.2 combination queries and answers (cross referencing)
2.2.2 saves about 50% of time, making the user as desktop operator a decision maker
3 surface
3.1 wiki style with an input area, displaying db-entities as topic subjects. page types:
3.1.1 ready screen (welcome)
3.1.1.1 sniplets like my-google
3.1.2 entity screen (when query and answer is a unique db-entity). contains:
3.1.2.1 hierarchically structured area. contains:
3.1.2.1.1 automated links by semantic associations
3.1.2.1.2 interactivity with software applications and internet services through action buttons (start, open, mailto, callto, whois...)
3.1.2.1.3 property creation and enhancement fields as entity properties are remembered.
3.1.2.2 unparsed note area
3.1.2.2.1 manual linking
3.1.3 permission rights screen
3.1.3.1 user, db-container, entity, access-method (use, view (query), state, enhance, edit)
3.1.4 combination answer screen, for displaying an intelligently structured combination of db-entities, according to the question.
3.1.5 personal account settings screen
3.1.6.1 personal user data
3.1.6.2 personal preferences and interests
3.1.6.3 windows profile information
3.1.6.4 computer system information
3.1.6.5 esyne surface
3.1.6.6 db-containers: hierarchy and permission rights
4 situational applicability
4.1 handles surprising situations (here an empty set of combinations of involved entities) instantly through real time processing and a basic set of general entities. ideal for the civil protection area.
4.2 for comprehensive information through a general definition of an entity
4.3 for combination applications (logistics, project management) through semantic structure, combined method-rule and information entities
4.4 public applied information: economy (contacts, corporates), offers (services, events, products), products (manuals), individuals (account pages), initiatives and communities (decision finder, civil forum, inter operation platform), topics (music, environment,...)
4.5 personal information (pim): contacts, schedule, inventory, projects
5.6 applicability of fuzzy explanations.
6.6 accurate translations through a basic reference level of meanings for the language levels.
5 code
5.1 ideal (optimally structured) through the method-rules coming from the db-entities, just processed by an empty recursive code, which acts as node (holder) and provides general functions for method-rules of entities. thus the entities use the code, which is contrary to nowadays approaches.
5.2 small, easily maintainable and flexible through it only contains the neutral environment for the database.
6 the importance of recursiveness
6.1 an information context can be projected onto different dimensional systems. in a parallel timed environment, like our reality or the brain (as mapping of reality), a simultaneous processing is consequent. in a serially timed system the most logical way of processing a diversity of information is by a recursive function. the recursive node combines two independent entities operationally, which effects in an excess value. (the cumulative system is always more than the individual parts.)
7 parallels to this information model, which basic entity is a general meaning
7.1 thoughts in our brain: stimuli from outside initiate nerve impulses. these spread through the associated neurons following a process of elimination (consolidation) to an applicable reaction. this can also be storing a new impulse combination.
7.2 mathematic and physical dimensions: our steric vectors only result in a space through their combination. this can be imagined as the analog equivalent to a recursive operator. two vectors combine to a plane, three vectors (a plane and a vector) combine to a space. a space and a time vector combine to a spatiotemporal continuum.
7.3 panentheism: the whole gains a further interpretation dimension through its character as system
7.4 lisp as 'a programmable programming language'.
7.5 cascaded routes: eg pstn (gstn), directory paths.
7.6 the random present as a state of the only possible way.
7.8 fractals: with different recursion ranges.
7.9 philosophic image of reality: as a system of functions, (independent of a serial or parallel environment). impressive in the film 'the matrix'.
8 comparison to other information platforms:
8.1 wiki: + social community, context-links - no semantic structure, manual links, no structured queries
8.2 semantic wiki: + social community, context-links - semantic peer structure, manual links, structured queries?
8.3 search engine: + usability, information range - no semantic structure, no social community, no combination queries
8.4 social bookmarking: + social community, unique entities, insemantic combination queries - too little meta-information, no semantic structure
8.5 blog + social community - individual redundant entities, no semantic structure
8.6 pim (personal information management) + personal information - no semantic structure, no public information
8.7 winfs + first proper approach, multidimensional object-orientation - unflexible, discontinued project
8.9 babel + sentence parsing - no semantic interpretation
