International Symposium on Biochromatography Will take place at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamilnadu, India, from Monday, February 12, 2007 to Thursday, February 15, 2007.
Symposium organized by
Professor M.A. VIJAYALAKSHMI (Vellore Institute of Technology - Centre for Bioseparation Technology (VIT-CBST) (India) - COMPIÈGNE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (France).
Professor X. SANTARELLI, from the Society of BioChromatography and Nanoseparations (SBCN) & ESTBB, BORDEAUX 2 UNIVERSITY (France).
The conference addresses recent developments in a variety of emerging fields, from fundamental concepts to application across all the branches of biochromatography and from small biomolecules to macrobiomolecules.
More precisely, ten sessions are planned:
(i) Protein expression, refolding and purification
(ii) Biomolecules 1 (proteins, peptides, DNA)
(iii) Biomolecules 2 (metabolomics, genomics, proteomics…)
(iv) Biomolecules 3 (sugars, polyssacharides)
(v) Small molecules (food, environmental, chirality…)
(vi) Preparative chromatography
(vii) Scale-up and scale-down
(viii) Miniaturization
(ix) New Stationary phases
(x) Electrically driven separation
